Experience the 103rd Maverick Rodeo

The 103rd Maverick Rodeo returns to Cimarron, New Mexico, on July 4, 2026. This long-standing Fourth of July tradition features a full day of rodeo competition, family-friendly events, and western heritage!



The rodeo begins with the Grand Entry at 10:00 a.m. and features events for competitors and spectators of all ages.

  • Thike Stockton Junior Barrel Race (Ages 5–10)

  • Lee Cortez Calf Scramble (Ages 6–12)


Admission

$15 per person

Children 6 and under are free.


Rodeo Dance

When: July 3, 20268:00 p.m. to Midnight

Where: Maverick Rodeo Grounds

Live music by the Chris Arellano Band.
