There are also several hiking trails to choose from, ranging from easy to challenging. 


After your walk, take a scenic drive to Cimarron Canyon State Park. This park is home to the majestic Palisades, a series of towering cliffs that rise above the Cimarron River. Take a leisurely stroll along the river or challenge yourself on a more strenuous hike.

For lunch, enjoy a delicious meal at the Cree-Mee Drive in, known for its mouthwatering burgers and warm atmosphere. After lunch, explore the historic district of Cimarron. Stroll down the streets, admire the well-preserved buildings, and step back in time. You can also visit the Philmont Scout Ranch. As the sun begins to set, head to the Enchanted Circle Scenic Byway.
